Gaytimes Festival
Co-founded by Anna Whitelaw & Mason Browne, Gaytimes is a boutique music, arts and camping festival for the whole lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and gender diverse community.
Gaytimes offers a weekend of music, art, community, sexuality and self-expression for the LGBTIQ community.
With an eclectic lineup of music, performers, visual arts, food trucks, yoga and more, Gaytimes is a festival experience unlike any other.
Whether you opt for glamping or prefer camping under the stars, Gaytimes is a bush doof with a touch of class.
"JUDY GARLAND'S BALLAD SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW COMES TO MIND WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT GAYTIMES ON A MARYSVILLE MOUNTAINTOP OUTSIDE MELBOURNE.
AFTER A LONG DRIVE THROUGH NATIONAL PARK, A GIANT RAINBOW GREETS YOU AT A SPECTACULAR CLEARING AND A TWO-DAY PARADE OF GLITTER AND ACCEPTANCE BEGINS"
- The Age
"ALL IN ALL, GAYTIMES WAS AN IMPRESSIVE MIX OF PEOPLE FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD – A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT TO BEHOLD AND PARTY DEVOTION AT IT’S FINEST. IT LEFT US IN HIGH ANTICIPATION OF THE NEXT ONE. COULD WE POSSIBLY HAVE ANYMORE FUN?"
- Three Thousand
"HERE CAME AN UNASHAMEDLY CAMP, BUTCH, CHILL, YOGA-LADEN FESTIVAL ALL AT ONCE—A QUEER SPACE PERHAPS, THAT WASN’T COMPLETELY SELF-CONSCIOUS ABOUT THE WAY IT CARRIED ITSELF."
- Noisey/VICE
"WE CALL IT! BEST CAMPING FESTIVAL IN YEARS. SEE YOU NEXT TIME GAYTIMES."
